youTHink, an arts and education program offered by the Zimmer Children’s Museum, is looking for student ambassadors. They offer really great programming throughout the year. My daughter participated in the animation retreat
last fall and enjoyed it.
youTHink‘s Student Ambassador Program (SAP) is a year-long leadership development, creative learning, and community involvement program from August 2016 to June 2017.
The program includes two meetings per month, an overnight retreat in August, as well as after school and weekend events that youTHink offers for middle and high school students throughout the school year, where Ambassadors will be peer leaders. The SAP is offered free of charge, including all food and transportation.
The SAP is a great opportunity for students who could benefit from extracurricular involvement, and/or who are interested in getting involved with their communities and making a difference. In the process, they grow personally and as leaders, meet new people, and have fun.
youTHink will have two Student Ambassador Programs, one for middle school students(rising 6th-8th grade) and one for high school students (rising 9th-12th grade)! Each group of Ambassadors will meet separately, but will also have several opportunities throughout the school year to connect and work together. We can’t wait to see how this new group of Ambassadors will be able to learn, grow, change, and make change!
Applying for the SAP is a three-step process:
