The Drive Smart: No Distractions, No Excuses Teen Digital Short Contest offers students between the ages of 13 – 18 the opportunity to create a short video educating their peers about the dangers of driving while distracted. Who would know better than them, right? One winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship, two runners-up will receive $1,000 and three semi-finalists will receive $500, all in the form of a check.

The contest offers tips sheets for reference as well as activities to help students as they create their videos. Adults, just so you don’t feel left out, the teachers and mentors of the winners will win prizes as well! $500, $250 and $100 for grand prize, runners-up and semi-finalists respectively.
