Summer STEM Program at USC Accepting Applications

The Stimulating STEM program is a 4-week summer program that will expose and stimulate students’ interest in STEM. Led by USC faculty and Amazon instructors, including hands-on robotics, cloud-based services, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity, the program runs from June 20 – July 18, 2022. It’s free for students and includes housing and transportation.

To be eligible, students must have attended one of the following high schools in Los Angeles:

  • John C Fremont High School
  • Washington Prep. High School
  • Manual Arts Sr High School
  • Augustus Hawkins High School
  • Dr. Maya Angelou Comm. High School
  • Dymally High School
  • Middle College High School
  • Thomas Jefferson High School
  • Alain LeRoy Locke High School
  • Diego Rivera Learning Complex
  • Jordan High School- LA

Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and can be a rising junior or senior, or have graduated in 2022.

Deadline to apply is April 1, 2022.
