Paypal offers a 12-week internship program, ahem, sorry, Internship Experience, and it sounds like a summer camp for young adults. Sure, there is work involved – but you know what they say, if you do what you love, it’s not work. For those that love software engineering, finance and accounting, and risk management, not only do you get paid to do work that you enjoy, there’s relocation assistance, paid housing, high-end swag and an employee discount program.
Don’t even get me started on the Interns’ Night Out, Hackathons, brainstorms, and other social events. Personally, they had me at paid housing.
Internships are available to undergrads and grad students. Location sites include San Jose, New York, and San Francisco, and a few other cities.
There are two ways to apply. You can apply through Paypal’s site here. If you are a student from an underrepresented background, you can apply through UNCF here, their deadline to apply is March 2, 2020.
