College sophomores and juniors interested in software engineering should check out the Oracle Developers Scholars Program. Oracle and UNCF are offering 20 scholarships and internships for the summer of 2020.
Based in Redwood City, CA, software engineering interns will have the opportunity to develop, debug, design and enhance software programs for web services, databases, applications, tools, and networks. This includes writing code, completing programming projects and performing testing and debugging of Oracle software.
Interns are also eligible for a $10,000 scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic school year at the conclusion of the internship.
In addition to being a paid internship, interns will receive furnished housing with other interns, round-trip transportation to California, and other perks.
Eligibility includes African Americans, Latino, Native Americans, and women, enrolled full-time at a four-year college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
