How cool would it be to intern at NASA? They are planning to return to the moon in 2024. For those interested in space, STEM, or bragging rights for being at NASA, they have plenty of internships available for Fall 2020, including Journalism, Multimedia, Social Media internships at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland. The journalism internship also offers a Spanish language internship.
Applicants can be undergrads as well as graduate students who are working towards degrees in journalism, communications, media relations, science writing, convergence journalism, or broadcast journalism to participate in their science storytelling program.
Interns will work with a leading team of writers and multimedia producers to create and share content from NASA’s most exciting science missions. They will collaborate on sophisticated communications campaigns as they create videos, web features, newsletter articles, press conferences, media interviews, social media posts, live video streams, and satellite media tours.
Most interns do receive a stipend dependent upon the student’s academic level and length of the internship.
