Here’s a year-long, paid opportunity for those teens interested in the arts. The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) teen program brings high school juniors and seniors (mostly seniors) behind the scenes to learn about the museum, contemporary art, artists, and other creative careers. Located downtown, teens will meet at MOCA on Thursday nights and some weekends to work with museum professionals, investigate current exhibitions, make art, plan Teen Night and support each other on a journey of self-discovery.

Deadline to apply for the 2016-17 teen program is May 25, 2016.

According to their application page, they usually receive more than 100 applications and will invite only 20 students in for an interview.

If selected, students will need a work permit because it is considered a paid museum staff position.
