Here’s another great resource for internships for college students. The Minority Access National Internship Program will offer students the opportunity to spend the summer working toward a career in the field of their choice. Students will get paid and earn academic credit while receiving hands-on experience. The positions have the possibility of an offer for full-time employment upon graduation.
The Minority Access National Diversity & Inclusion Internship Program is designed to allow undergraduate and graduate students to experience the diversity and scope of career opportunities available in the federal government and other participating entities. The program provides students with the opportunity to merge academic theory with practical application in the workplace.
Minority Access interns receive pre-employment training, expert counseling on career choices, financial management and professional development, and recognition for fulfilling the requirements of the program. The Minority Access National Internship Program staff is available at all times to lend assistance to the interns.
Minority Access, Inc. will pay the intern’s round-trip travel from their campus or home residence to their internship placement for distances in excess of 50 miles and will provide assistance to interns in locating suitable housing and will make all move-in arrangements.
Deadline to apply is March 1, 2020.
