Lockheed Martin is bankrolling a renewable $10,000 scholarship for 200 high school seniors and undergraduates. The STEM scholarship is for students who plan to pursue a major in engineering or computer science, demonstrate financial need and come from underrepresented or underserved communities.
To be eligible, students must be a U.S. Citizen, current high school seniors with a cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA, or current college freshmen or sophomores with a cumulative 2.5 or higher GPA.
Deadline to apply is March 12, 2020.
The scholarship is one piece of Lockheed Martin’s 2018 pledge to create 8,000 new workforce development programs and invest $50 million in educational enrichment programs.
