Scripps College, an all women’s college, offers an opportunity for students from underrepresented backgrounds to explore the Scripps College Campus over two days. Prospective students will tour the campus, spend the night in a residence hall, sit in on intensive and intimate classroom discussions, explore co-curricular activities, get to know professors, staff, and current students, and discover all of the resources available.
This year there will be two dates for the Discover Scripps program for students to chose from: Sunday, October 11 to Monday, October 12 and Sunday, November 8 to Monday, November 9. Students will be able to indicate their preferred date on the Discover Scripps application.
Here’s a link to the schedule of events for the program.
Students interested in attending a Discover Scripps program must submit the following materials:
- Discover Scripps Application
- Current high school transcript (unofficial transcripts will be accepted)
The application deadline for both programs is Monday, September 14, and all applicants will be notified of their selection status via email by Friday, September 18.
If you are selected for a program, the College will cover the costs of meals, overnight accommodations, and materials. For students who live more than 150 miles from campus and have limited funds, travel grants are also available.
