AT&T and Ghetto Film School are looking for 10 LA-based aspiring filmmakers, ages 14-18 for the AT&T Mentorship Content Lab. The program runs from September 14 – December 12, 2019. to pitch a panel of creative executives, including Emmy-winning writer-producer, and AT&T Mentorship Program Lead Mentor Lena Waithe. They will work as a team to produce a visually captivating and emotionally impactful short film.
Students will get hands-on narrative production training from Ghetto Film School and special access and connections made by AT&T, they will individually pitch concepts for a 4-5 minute non-dialogue short film to Lena Waithe and panel of executives. Only one pitch will be chosen for production and all 10 students will cast, shoot and edit.
