If you were interested in the Association of American Publishers and UNCF (United Negro College Fund) publishing internship program but don’t attend an HBCU, you’re in luck, they have expanded it to include minority undergraduate students and graduating seniors from any college or university in the country.
The summer 2020 AAP-UNCF Internship Program is providing paid positions at AAP’s member publishing companies, including Elsevier, Hachette Book Group, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Princeton University Press, and W.W. Norton, as well as at AAP itself. Eleven student interns will be selected, matched with a mentor, and provided with subsidized housing.
Applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.0, a record of leadership and community service, and strong writing skills are encouraged to apply online here. The deadline to apply for AAP-UNCF internships is March 12, 2020.
