Planning on going to an all women’s college? There’s a scholarship for that! Check out these seven scholarships with upcoming deadlines in February and March that award students interested in technology, oceanic sciences, music and more! Your student could win $10,000 with a doodle for Google. Check them out.

AMS Minority Scholarships

For students interesting in careers in the atmospheric or related oceanic and hydrologic sciences, this scholarship is worth $6,000. It’s given out $3,000 in freshman year and depending on completion of first year, $3,000 in sophomore year. Open to minority high school seniors who will be college freshman in fall of 2019. Deadline to apply is February 8, 2019.

BMI Student Composer Awards

BMI awards up to $5,000 to young composers engaged in the study of classical music. Students must be under the age of 28, studying music either in an educational institution or privately, and a citizen of a country in the Western Hemisphere. Deadline to apply is February 1, 2019.

Davidson Fellows Scholarships

The Davidson Fellows Scholarship awards $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 scholarships to extraordinary young people, 18 and under (no minimum age), who have completed a significant piece of work. Categories are Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Literature, Music, Philosophy and Outside the Box. Deadline to apply is February 13, 2019.

Doodle for Google

Like to draw? Win a $30,000 scholarship in Google’s Doodle for Google contest. It’s open to students in grades K-12. Students can work with any materials they want. The theme is “When I Grow Up.” Deadline is March 18, 2019.

Harriet Fitzgerald Scholarship

The Harriet Fitzgerald scholarship awards $10,000 to females students planning on attending a women’s college. Current high school seniors and gap year students are eligible. Deadline to apply is February 1, 2019.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship

Jackie Robinson Foundation scholarship awards up to $30,000 over four years. It’s open to graduating, minority high school seniors who plan on attending an accredited and approved four-year institution within the United States. Applicant must show leadership potential, dedication to community service, and evidence of financial need. Deadline to apply is February 1, 2019.

Microsoft disAbility Scholarship

This scholarship will be awarded to promising high school seniors who plan to attend a vocational or academic college and target a career in the technology industry. They must have a financial need. The amount of this renewable scholarship to be awarded is $5,000 per year, up to $20,000 total. Deadline to apply is March 1, 2019.
